We are pleased to announce that the Development Fund has now raised over £60,000. The DF raised £3,421 in the period between 19th January and 25th January to bring the DF Total this season to £60,471. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has made a donation.
The Development Fund was established to allocate funds to be used specifically for the build and development of our own football ground. Between 2007 and 2016, we raised £1,139,441- a fantastic achievement that is a testament to the passion, dedication and generosity of FC United supporters. The money raised between 2007 and 2016 was used to help build and develop our new ground at Broadhurst Park.
There are still areas of the ground that need to be developed further. We have set a fundraising target for this season of £300,000 to help us specifically develop the area under the St. Mary’s Road Stand, complete the build of the two ends of the Main Stand and allow us to meet the obligations of community shares and loans from the initial build.
In the period 19th January to 25th January the money raised was:
- Development Fund Donations: £1,611
(Please note that most standing orders are received at the start and end of each month)
- PFTG / Barrels: £950
- DF Fundraising Events: £0 (no events in the period)
- DF Holiday Club: £860
At the Harrogate home match £226 was raised through DF Turnstile No.4. This has been assigned to the Development Fund Donations line.
The total money raised between 1st July 2016 and 25th January 2017 is:
- Development Fund Donations: £31,937
- PFTG / Barrels: £12,540
- DF Fundraising Events: £2,744
- DF Holiday Club: £13,250*
*Last week we reported that the DF Holiday Club was £13,335 due to a supporter donating their voucher back. This has now been treated as a donation so the £945 now appears in the Development Fund Donations line instead.
