Virtual Malcolms - 7.45pm on Tuesday 21 April

Now the CYCM team can’t usually do a Malcolmses on a Tuesday night on account of things like bands being busy of an evening, Westwells not having tater ash available...

There are not many plus points to The Weirdness but one of them is that these issues no longer apply - well, to be fair tater ash is still not going to be available, sadly, though there are rumours of virtual muffins making a brief appearance.

So if you can please join us at 7.45pm on Tuesday 21 April by clicking here for a melange of loveliness including specially recorded sets by:

* Meg Shaw, who played at CYCM earlier this season, and whose Twitter feed tells us ’if you like 7th chords and egg shakers then you’ll like my music (hopefully)’, and

* Vanessa Maria, whose Web site promises that ’her sound blends together alternative r&b with ethereal dream-pop occasionally sprinkled with ’80s glitter’.

There will also be some great archive footage from CYCM in Gigg Lane days, poetry from Patrick T Davies, more film reviews from the mysterious Mark Commode, and probably more stuff when we wake up with more ideas after those weird dreams everyone’s been having.
