Service from the club during Coronavirus

Service from the club during CoronavirusDue to the ongoing situation and the restrictions created we have had to make a number of changes to the way that we operate. Please read this article to find out more.

Broadhurst Park

Following government instruction and Broadhurst Park is closed. Whilst restrictions remain in place there will be no service at the ground and supporters are advised that they will not be able to access the office, club shop and the 3G pitches are shut.

Staff

In order to protect the long-term wellbeing of the club and the jobs of staff, the club staff are now considered as furloughed under the government job retention scheme and no longer able to work. Clearly this will cause disruption and we ask for supporter understanding at this very difficult time that normal service will not be possible. Please be aware of the following restrictions which will be in operation until we advise you otherwise.

Contacting the club

In person at Broadhurst Park There will be no opportunity to contact anyone at the ground, the ground is closed.

By phoneThere will be no opportunity to contact the club by phone. We expect the answerphone to fill up quickly and it will not be monitored. Please do not try and call the club. We cannot divert the phone to staff mobiles as the staff are furloughed and cannot work.

By e-mail the usual office@fc-utd.uk e-mail will not be regularly monitored and the mailbox may well fill up. Please do not contact the club unless you really have to unless it is a query around season tickets which we will do our best to answer. Should you have a query that cannot wait the club board can be contacted but they will have no access to the internal club computer system and cannot answer queries which would require them to access this:

adrianseddon@fc-utd.co.uk
sammullock@fc-utd.co.uk
dennis.shannon@fc-utd.co.uk

The club are grateful to companies and individuals contacting the club to take out sponsorship for next season. Please contact sponsorship@fc-utd.uk for any such queries.

Season tickets The club has emphasised the importance of supporters buying season tickets as the only real source of income to get us through the crisis. We appreciate the number of you who are buying and can only apologise for this situation restricting the ways we can currently sell them.

Currently the only way of purchasing a season ticket immediately is online through this link:

Buy your season ticket here

All you need is a credit or debit card and the system is very user friendly.

There is currently no opportunity to buy a season ticket by phone.

If you cannot make an online payment please e-mail your details (name, contact number and how many/ what kind of season ticket you wish to buy) to seasontickets@fc-utd.co.uk and we will get back to you when staff have resumed work or volunteers can access Broadhurst Park.

There is currently no indication of when that could be. Also, e-mail if you wish to pay by instalment and, again, we will be in touch when we can set that up or if you have any season ticket query. This e-mail address will be monitored by volunteers but they will not have the ability to set up payments or answer queries that need access to the club’s internal computer systems.

Club Shop items can still be purchased online only at www.fcumshop.co.uk

but we have no date for when items will be shipped to you. We will deliver as soon as we can do so.

This is an unprecedented situation and we thank you in advance for your understanding. Any supporter who can help keep the club going at this time when we have lost almost all income which will cost us in the region of £100,000 is asked to consider donating online

Many thanks; stay safe and see you soon.
