Salou McDowell-Jallow (20) returns to the FC United squad for the 2019/20 season having progressed through FCs U/21s side.
Salou made his debut for FC as a substitute in January this year against Chester and played in the last three matches of the season.
Originally from the Gambia, where his family live and breathe football, Salou moved over to Belfast when he was young. He played for Northern Ireland youth from u/12s through to u/19s. He then moved to Manchester for University and joined FC United u/21s. This year he begins his third and final year with UCFB.
Salou said, “Last season was amazing for me to make my debut for the first team. I couldn’t ask to be at a better club. I’m really happy to play for this club.”
Although he played at right back for FC United last season, he can also play right and left wing and wing back.
