NEW PLAYER: Ryan Botell

Ryan Botell (22) is a right back who joins FC United from Clitheroe.

He started his football career with Liverpool before moving to Rochdale, where he spent seven years. He came to FC United as a scholar spending two years here, before moving to Scotland to play for Turriff United for one and a half seasons.

He then had a short time away from football to concentrate on getting a job, before playing for Clitheroe for the last three months of last season.

Botell said “I’d love to play here at FC United; the stadium, the fanbase, the way the club is run. It’s unbelievable. I think it’s the best non-league club there is.”

DOB: 15/02/1997
