Double-Header Preview: FC United Women vs Penrith AFC LadiesFC United Women welcome Penrith AFC Ladies to Broadhurst Park for a NWWRL Premier Division double-header on Sunday 21 April 2019.

With the Reds yet to face Penrith in this year’s league campaign, the ‘home’ and ‘away’ fixtures will be played back-to-back on one afternoon, at Broadhurst Park.

The games will be of a shortened length, with both matches consisting of two 30-minute halves with a half-an-hour break in between the two fixtures.

The first game, which United are listed as the home team for, will kick-off at the slightly earlier time of 1.30pm with the reverse fixture set to get underway at around 3pm.

Both matches will be played on the Broadhurst Park 3G, with the usual six points available from the two games.

The Reds’ last meeting with tomorrow’s visitors was also on the Broadhurst 3G, less than a month ago, as Luke Podmore’s side ran out 3-0 winners in an Argyle Cup quarter-final tie.

First half goals from Kate O’Gara, Emily Marsh and Jess Battle were enough for victory on the day and FCUMW will be hoping for a similar outcome in both games tomorrow.

The glorious Bank Holiday weekend weather is set to continue and with a cracking day of football ahead, get yourself down to that football ground!

We hope to see you there!
