Match Preview: Mossley AFC vs FC United of Manchester Ahead of tonight’s match we see how both sides are shaping up for the next round of the cup.

This evening we travel to Mossley in the quarter-finals of the Manchester Premier Cup looking to progress into the semi-finals of the competition.

FC won 3-1 away at Hereford in their last outing with three quickfire first half goals from Tom Peers and Kurt Willoughby, as well as an own goal in between.

Joel Senior won man of the match in the game, providing the assist for Peers’ opener and impressing both going forwards and back in defence.

Opponents Mossley currently sit 8th in their respective league table, having picked up 22 points out of a possible 42 in the Evo-Stik West Division.

They beat North-West Counties side Abbey Hey 4-0 in the first round of the Manchester Premier Cup to progress to the quarter-finals.
