Match preview: Hereford FC vs FC United of Manchester

Ahead of tomorrow’s match we take a closer look at our opponents as we travel to Hereford looking to earn another three points on the road.

It’s been a great start for Neil Reynolds at FC, who will be looking to build on his unbeaten run and much-improved team performances.

Last week saw Reno secure his first win with a brilliant 3-0 victory against Blyth Spartans.

The Reds looked dangerous in the attacking third with Simoes, Willoughby and Peers, providing a constant threat throughout the 90 minutes.

The result moved us temporarily out of the relegation zone, showing the progress the side has made in a short space of time.

As for our opponents, Hereford currently sit just above us in 19th position having picked up 14 points out of 45 in the National League North.

In their last game, the hosts drew 1-1 against Altrincham FC. Despite taking an early lead the second half through a goal from James Roberts, they were denied all three points as Altrincham equalised in the final two minutes in the game.

• Hereford will become the 121st League opponents for FCUM. The only previous meeting was a 2-0 win for the Bulls when playing as Hereford United at Gigg Lane in an FA Cup tie in October 2012.

• 11 years ago on this date Neil Reynolds was on the winning side for Clitheroe against FCUM at Shawbridge.
