MATCH ARRANGEMENTS FC UNITED v NORTH FERRIBYOn Saturday 28th April 2018, FC United welcome North Ferriby United to Broadhurst Park for our last National League North match of the season kick off 3.00 pm.

This match has been designated as Youth United Day.

Youth United Day is an annual event that the club has organised since its first season 2005-06 to encourage young people to attend affordable football.

We work with a huge number of young people in North Manchester and this is a way for us to open our doors to young people, with activities on the day aimed at giving young people a flavour of what the club and the wider community has to offer them.

The day kicks off at 12 noon and runs right up until the first team kick off at 3pm.

It’s FREE for Under 18s with plenty of free activities on throughout the afternoon. Some of these include...

- Samba band
- Magician and balloon artist
- Face painting
- Cave bus with instructors
- 60 ft climbing wall with instructors
- Penalty competition
- Football coaching sessions

Admission to the North Ferriby match is by payment at the turnstiles.

The turnstiles open at 1.30 p.m. Admission is as follows

£10 Adults,
£6 Concessions

As it is Youth United Day, under 18s go free.

Supporters arriving before 1.30 p.m. can gain admission to the ground via the Club’s Main Reception.

TURNSTILES

Turnstile 4 at the St. Mary’s Road End is a designated Development Fund (DF) donation turnstile which allows supporters to donate money in addition to the normal admission price to the DF.

The DF Turnstile accepts Adults, Concessions and Juniors entering with a Season Ticket, Match Tickets or cash payment.

MATCH PROGRAMME

The Match programme is priced at £2.00 and is available to buy from sellers outside and inside the ground.

RESERVED SEATING IN THE MAIN STAND

Supporters will be able to reserve seats in one block of the Main Stand on a first come first served basis, by calling the FC United office on Friday 27th April 2018 on 0161 769 2005. A maximum of 4 seats can be reserved per person. Those who have reserved seating need to collect a wristband from the FC United office accessible through the main reception on the day of the match. These wristbands will only be available until the kick off time of the match.

MATCH DAY DINING

Our Match Day Dining situated at the far third of the Main Stand function room and is available to home supporters.

FC Match Day Dining includes:

- Match admission, seating or terracing
- Complimentary match day programme and team sheets
- Complimentary parking pass (1 for every 4 guests)
- Welcome drink and 3 course meal
- Cash bar
- Post-match Man of the Match presentation and interview

Dining for this match is currently sold out. However if spaces become available they will be advertised through the usual channels.

BARS AND FOOD

There will be 5 bars open for this match.

All supporters will have access to all bars and food provision.

The Club has been granted a licence to serve alcohol throughout the match and fans will now be allowed to drink alcohol on the terraces from plastic glasses. As a result all drinks will now be served in plastic glasses.

Alcohol will not be served in the away end, but food and soft drinks will be available.

The Main Stand Function Room Bar will serve hot food together with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks before, during and after the match. We ask that fans purchasing alcohol in the Main Stand Bar during the game do not congregate at the back of the Main Stand, but instead find a position in the seats or terraces.

Before the turnstiles open, access to the Main Stand Function Room Bar is via main reception by payment of the match admission price. After the turnstiles open, entry to the function room will be via all turnstiles and then through the seated area of the Main Stand.

The SMRE bar under the large St Mary’s Road terrace will open for sale of draught and bottled beer and lager until half time ONLY and will then close until next season!!

Our Cask Ale Bar situated under the Main Stand, behind the Paddock, will sell a selection of ales. Opposite the Cask Bar the Food Bar will serve hot food prepared by our chef, pies from HM Pasties and non-alcoholic drinks.

In view of the pitch we have a Bar between the Main Stand and SMRE which serves draught bitter and lager

We also have a Bar situated in the North Stand (opposite the Main Stand) next to the Burger Van.

Please note the Main Stand Bar and SMRE Bars are No Smoking Areas. Supporters wishing to smoke at half-time can do so in the designated areas in the corners of the ground.

PLAYER OF THE SEASON AWARDS

At half time in the match, the Nobby Stiles Young player of the Year award will be made on the pitch.

At full time the Russell Delaney Supporters Player of the Year and the Supporters Women’s Player of the Year will be made on the pitch.

Following on from that, the Manager’s Player of the Year (Men’s) and the Player’s Player of the Year (Men’s) will be presented in the Function Room commencing at 7.00 pm.

As the Women’s team have a pre-arranged engagement, there will be no other presentations to the Women’s team in the evening.

The Cask Ale Bar will remain open after the match until 6.30 pm.

There will be raffle prizes with all proceeds going to the Club’s Development Fund.

We encourage as many supporters as can to stay behind for what should be a good evening.

POUND FOR THE GROUND TICKETS

We are still raising money for the club’s Development Fund as there are parts of the ground we need to complete. The quickest and easiest way is to buy a Pound for the Ground ticket at £1 each at the match with cash prize of £250 on offer.

DF BARRELS

You can also donate to the Development Fund by dropping your loose change and foreign currency into the DF barrels strategically placed around the ground.

GEORGE BAKER

FC United board member George Baker bravely competed in and completed the London marathon last weekend to raise funds for the Club’s Development Fund. He has to date raised over £2500 but his donation page on the internet is still open

If you wish to donate in person however there will be collection points in the Main Reception and in the Function Room Bar on Saturday.

CLUB SHOP

The Club Shop is accessible at the front of the ground to the right of the Main Entrance.

The ‘End of line merchandise sale’ continues with a wide range of items on sale. Some new items are also always being added to the merchandise range so why not pop in and see what is in stock.

The shop will be open before the game and for 15 minutes after the final whistle.

2018-19 SEASON TICKETS

Season tickets for next season will be on sale before the match from the Membership Stall and after the match from Hannah Gorman in the office in the main Reception area.

FREE WIFI

We have free WiFi at Broadhurst Park for all supporters to use. Supplied by local company Pennine Telecom, to access the service just search for FCUM-FreeWiFi, select it and set up a user account.

We advise that all supporters read the travel information and make a note of where traffic marshals will ask you to refrain from parking.

FREE SHUTTLE BUS FROM CITY CENTRE

This season Holts Brewery have kindly been putting on a FREE 50 seater coach shuttle (Swans Travel) from the Crowne Plaza Hotel, next to the Hare and Hounds Pub at Shudehill in Manchester, stopping at the Railway Pub adjacent to Newton Heath/Moston Metrolink Station before completing the trip to Broadhurst Park.

The shuttle bus will make 3 journeys from Manchester and 5 journeys from the Railway Pub at the following times:

Departs: 12.10pm – Crowne Plaza Hotel at Shudehill
Pick up: 12.30pm – Railway Pub adjacent to Newton Heath/Moston Metrolink
Arrives: 12.35pm at Broadhurst Park

Departs: 1pm – Crowne Plaza Hotel at Shudehill
Pick up: 1.20pm – Railway Pub adjacent to Newton Heath/Moston Metrolink
Arrives: 1.25pm at Broadhurst Park

SERVICE BUSES

Supporters travelling from Manchester city centre can use buses 181 or 182 which depart from Stand F on Lever Street. These buses stop right outside the ground at the top end of St. Mary’s Road.

TRAINS

Trains run between Manchester Victoria and Moston Train Station departing at 26 minutes past the hour arriving at Moston at 33 minutes past the hour. The ground is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Moston Train Station. Trains return to Manchester every hour at 54 minutes past the hour.

BY CAR

From Central Manchester
From central Manchester head out of town on the A62 Oldham Road until the junction with Monsall Road. Turn left and pass Central Park Metrolink on your left and take the next right at the roundabout and follow the road ahead straight across another roundabout which takes you onto Lightbowne Road. Follow the road for around half a mile and you will see Broadhurst Park on your right hand side.

From the M60 – Clockwise
If travelling via the motorway network from the north and west, head for the M60 Manchester ring road. Leave the M60 at junction 20, then turn onto the A664. At the traffic signals turn left onto the A6104. Travel straight on and then at the Greengate roundabout take the 4th exit onto Lightbowne Road, the B6393. Carry straight on for around a half a mile and Broadhurst Park is on your left.

From the M60 - Anti-clockwise
If travelling via the motorway network from the south and east, head for the M60 Manchester ring road. Leave the M60 at junction 22, then straight on to Hollinwood Avenue, the A6104 . Travel straight on and then at the Greengate roundabout take the 1st exit onto Lightbowne Road, the B6393. Carry straight on for around a half a mile and Broadhurst Park is on your left.

CAR PARKING

We would urge supporters to use the car parks we have available for a charge of £5.00 at the ground and for £3.00 at the nearby St Mathews School, only 3 minutes’ walk from the ground.

We are under a duty to ensure areas such as St Mary’s Road and the north of Nuthurst Road are not used by visitors to Broadhurst Park.

Supporters should be mindful that there is no parking on:

- St Mary’s Road and the streets off St Mary’s Road; including Teddington Road, Merridale Road, Worthington Street and Tymm Street.

- Nuthurst Road;

- the West side of Moston Lane and the streets off it.
