Thursday March 15th sees the return of the fantastic FCUM comedy nights, and this one promises to be a comedic cracker.
Hosted and opening with Moston’s own
Smug Roberts. Smug, who has starred in Mrs Browns Boys and Phoenix Nights, is well known to FC’s audience and never fails grab the crowd and deliver sharp one liners and a superb off tangent look at life. Previewing some of his latest Edinburgh Fringe festival set, you are in for a treat.
Joint headliners are
Big Lou Jones and
Steve Shanyaski. Both are excellent gagsmiths who will leave you smiling for days. Big Lou is a very well known and loved act who has just returned from a series of sold out shows in Cyprus. His extremely commanding stage presence is complimented by his excellent timing and punchlines. A guy blessed with genuinely funny bones.
Steve Shanyaski is the epitome of a class modern comic. His high energy quirkiness and warm confidence deliver a night to remember. His observational musings are instantly recognisable and always hit the laugh out loud target.
So get yourself to that football ground and treat yourself to great night of live comedy in your club.
