Join us at Fortress Broadhurst for the Magnificent 8

FC United’s home form since Tommy Greaves took charge in October has been electrifying; 6 matches played, 5 won and 1 drawn with 15 goals scored, 16 points picked up out of a possible 18 in a run which included matches against the league’s top 3 sides.

If the National League North table was done on the last 6 home matches alone, FC United would be sitting top!

Under Tommy the good times are back at FC United with a team built around exciting youngsters who play attacking football. The crowds are building and our famous FC atmosphere has returned. We’ve introduced a real ale bar and you can now drink your pint in the stands watching the games. Bringing our catering in-house has allowed us to tie up with local firms such as Grandad’s Sausages and H.M. Pasties (a company providing sustainable employment for people with criminal convictions and young people at risk of criminal involvement).

On the pitch Broadhurst Park is turning into a fortress, off the pitch it is starting to feel like home.

Tommy Greaves has no doubt as to your place in all this, saying after a recent match: “You just been out there, haven’t you? Did you hear them? They’re unbelievable; I’ve never played for fans like it. I’ve loved every single minute of every club I’ve been at but this club just makes you feel so special."

Having left the relegation places behind we currently sit in 13th place in the National League North, a position we finished in for both our previous seasons. With your support over the crucial last 8 home matches of the season, Tommy’s Terriers (catchphrase Swampy on FCUM Radio) could still push on to 7th place and the play-offs although we are mindful that in an incredibly tight league we are still only 6 points above the drop.

With your incredible support in mind we have created a Magnificent 8 special ticket offer which will give you 2 hours free football and entry into our last 8 vital matches of the season against, Curzon Ashton, Chorley, Stockport County, Gainsborough Trinity, Bradford Park Avenue, York City, Darlington and North Ferriby.

Save money and join us for a pulsating end to the season with 8 matches priced at:
£65 Adults
£39 Concessions

"I want to see good, attacking football - I know how important that is to the supporters at the club." Tom Greaves FC United Player Manager.
