Adam Gilchrist signs for FC United

We are delighted to announce the signing of Adam Gilchrist, brother of former FC United striker Jason Gilchrist - Adam, aged 28, is also a striker and has played in the Northern Premier and North West Counties league for over 10 years.

Following the departure of Jason Gilchrist at the end of November, Manager Tom Greaves has been in search of another striker to bolster FC United’s attack. He was introduced to Jason’s older brother Adam Gilchrist and after a few weeks training with the club, Adam has now registered with FC United. Adam will be available for selection away at Salford City on New Years Day.

Adam has played in the Northern Premier League and NWCFL for over 10 years for Radcliffe Borough, St Helens Town, Marine, Ashton Athletic and Burscough.

Adam is a striker but can comfortably play as an attacking player on either side or in the middle. He is also a UEFA B qualified football coach.
