On Friday 12th May kick-off 6pm, FC United’s Disability Team take on AFC Masters in our second friendly fixture since we established the team 3 months ago - The 7 a-side friendly match will take place on the 3G Pitch at Broadhurst Park and will last for about an hour with short games being played.



On Friday 12th May ko 6pm, FC United’s Disability Team take on AFC Masters in our second friendly fixture since we established the team 3 months ago. The 7 a-side friendly match will take place on the 3G Pitch at Broadhurst Park and will last for about an hour with short games being played.

FC United’s Disability Team was set up for 3 months ago under the guidance of Tom Conroy, and meets every Friday evening for training sessions at Broadhurst Park. So far we’ve played just one friendly fixture against Warrington Wolves which was a huge success.

Our opposition this Friday is AFC Masters, who are a thriving football team for disabled people in Bolton. They have year round training sessions and games every Saturday morning run by a team of dedicated volunteers and coaches. The club has an energetic under 11’s team, 11-16 team, a ladies team and a successful have two over 16’s teams that play competitively in the Ability Counts league.

Friday’s friendly match will be in a 7v7 format with unlimited substitutions.

All are welcome to come along and watch the match, and we encourage anyone planning to come to Supporters’ Dinner taking place at 7pm in the Main Stand Function Room to arrive early to cheer both teams on.
