Rudd and Ashton injured

The three nil defeat at the hands of Atherton Collieries on Wednesday night may prove more expensive than just three dropped points with both Stuart Rudd and Sam Ashton suffering with injuries.

Rudd came off towards the end of the game with a pulled hamstring and Ashton damaged his hip, completing the second half in pain.

Both players are doubtful for Sunday’s match against Congleton and if Rudd’s injury is as bad as first feared he could be out for up to six weeks.
