TICKET SALES FOR FC UNITED V STOCKPORT COUNTY

Arrangements for tickets sales for FC United v Stockport on Friday 12th August. Kick-off 7.45pm

FC United ‘s league match against Stockport County at Broadhurst Park, previously scheduled for Saturday 13th August will now take place on Friday 12th August 7.45pm kick-off for the following reason:

One of the planning conditions on Broadhurst Park is that we cannot host matches on the same day when Manchester City are playing at home. This is not an ideal situation, nor one we are happy about, but we are continuing to work with the authorities towards a long-term resolution.

On Saturday 13th August Manchester City play Sunderland at home, meaning that the FC United v Stockport match had to be rearranged. As FC United and Stockport have a fixture on the following Tuesday (16th August), both clubs have agreed that the match should take place on the Friday 12th August as opposed to the Sunday. FC United sincerely thank Stockport for their cooperation in this matter.

THE MATCH WILL BE ALL-TICKET with segregation in place and police will be in attendance. A reduced ground capacity of 4,000 will be in operation and Stockport’s allocation will be 650 tickets.

FC United will only be selling tickets for HOME supporters for this match. Away supporters will need to purchase their ticket from Stockport County.

Although we are not expecting any issues surrounding this match, segregation needs to be maintained and measures will be put in place which include, in the first instance, restricting the sale of tickets in the home end of the ground to 2016/17 FC UNITED MEMBERS ONLY.

TICKET SALES

Season ticket holders do not need to buy a ticket for this match as Voucher Number 2 in their Season Ticket book will give them entry to this match. Season ticket books will be dispatched from the office from 1st August.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday 25th July at 9am to all 2016/17 FC UNITED MEMBERS (who are NOT season ticket holders) who joined before 5pm on 22nd July 2016.

If you have not bought or renewed your membership for the new season and wish to attend the Stockport match, please do so at the earliest convenience.

Members can only buy 1 ticket per membership, but members can purchase tickets on behalf of other members. When ordering your ticket(s) you will need to supply the Members Surname, Membership Number and Postcode of the members you wish to buy tickets for.

If you are a new FC United Member, to ascertain your Membership Number please contact the office at the earliest convenience, using membership@fc-utd.uk or calling 0161 769 2005 and provide your name and postcode.

If you have had a membership in previous years, your membership number will be unchanged. If you have forgotten your membership number please contact the office on 0161 769 2005.

Any new members with an SK postcode will be subject to additional checks by FC United officials prior to their ticket purchase being approved and dispatched.

Should any tickets remain a further announcement will be made on Friday 29th July.

TICKET PRICES

Home tickets give unreserved ground access to either the standing or seated areas. Supporters who require a disabled seat or who need a carer with them should also contact the club on 0161 769 2005 to purchase their ticket.

£9 Adults, £5 Concessions* and £2 for U/18s

*Concession means the following:
- Over 60s
- In receipt of income support or job seekers allowance
- Student with a valid NUS card

Any person applying for a concession may be asked to produce identification at the turnstile. If a supporter is unwaged and does not have proof of any of the above they must contact the FC United office prior to the game.

HOW TO BUY TICKETS

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Monday 25th July.

Members are encouraged to purchase their tickets online if possible as this will ease the pressure on our staff and volunteers during a busy time at our new offices at Broadhurst Park.

2. Order by phone on 0161 769 2005 (Payment via credit/debit card)

3. Buy in person at Broadhurst Park from 10 am to 4pm Monday to Friday. (Payment via cash or card)

All tickets purchased online or via the phone will be sent out via the post w/c 1st August. An additional £1 will be charged on all orders to cover postage.
