Kit needed for club's work with survivors of torture

FC United is delighted to be working in partnership with Freedom from Torture.

We will be holding weekly football sessions for survivors of torture from Thursday 21 April and we are asking all supporters to look through boxes, the loft, under the kitchen sink, etc., for adult football boots that will be suitable for playing on our 3g surface.

All donations are very much welcome and they can be taken along to the ground at our next home game against Stalybridge Celtic.

Freedom from Torture, formerly the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture, has been working for more than 30 years to provide direct clinical services to survivors of torture who arrive in the UK, as well as striving to protect and promote their rights. Since its inception, over 50,000 individuals have been referred for help.
