Admission arrangements for FC United vs Trafford (Thursday 1st January 2015)Curzon Ashton officials are confident that FC United’s home league game vs Trafford on Thursday 1st January 2015 (Kick-off 3.00 p.m.) will go ahead as scheduled.

This match will be played at Curzon Ashton’s home ground at Tameside Stadium, Richmond Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire. OL7 9HG

Supporters are requested to assist our volunteer turnstile operators by arriving early and entering the ground by the correct turnstile.

Four turnstiles will be open initially.

Two turnstiles 1 & 2 located near the statue will both take cash:

Turnstile 1: Concessions £5, Juniors £2. Families that need to stay together can go through this turnstile.

Turnstile 2: Adults only £8

Two turnstiles 3 & 4 at the other end of the car park will take season tickets and complimentary tickets.

Please remember your season ticket books and voucher 13 (Thirteen) will be in use.

Another turnstile operator will be on standby to open a further turnstile 8 at the end of the main stand should any queues develop. All categories will be accepted at turnstile 8.

Access for wheelchairs and pushchairs will be through the steward’s gate to the left of the statue.

Parents and guardians who carry small children are invited to use this access. All categories accepted through the steward’s gate.

Early and late gates

The early gate will be turnstile 1 and will open at 1.00 pm. All categories accepted.

The late gate will be turnstile 1 and will stay open until at least half-time. Full price entry will apply while the late gate is open. All categories accepted.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

As there is fairly limited car parking available at the ground, supporters are requested to use public transport where this is possible.

The nearest Metrolink tram station is Ashton West, the penultimate stop on the Eccles - Ashton-under-Lyne line from which there is a short walk to the ground via Richmond Street. There is expected to be a tram service running every 12 minutes during the afternoon on New Year’s Day.

The nearest railway station is Ashton-under-Lyne, the first stop on the Manchester Victoria - Huddersfield line. From Ashton-under-Lyne station, it is just under a mile to the ground. There is expected to be a half-hourly train service running during the afternoon on New Year’s Day.
