Matchday programme - FCUM Review v Padiham

In Sunday’s FCUM Review we cast our minds back to the first time we met our opposition Padiham. Times were very different as we hosted the Storks at Gigg Lane in August 2005. It was FC United’s first ever home game and the programme includes recollections from manager Margy, steering committee members, those who put the programme together for that game and more.

To lighten the mood, we have an interview with Tom Greaves, where he reveals his first times for everything, including the romantic film he went to see with his grandma.

Supporters Direct are calling for more transparency in football, so we include an article they have recently published detailing how that can be made possible, with the aim being to get more say for fans in the running of their clubs. We also have a couple of opinion pieces, one from a non-league supporter on his visit to Bower Fold for our recent game against Skelmersdale United and one from an FC fan on the importance of the club’s stance against discrimination.

There is an author in This is our club... and we have a lovely middle-page (not age, though that would be more apt in some cases...) spread featuring pictures from the recent Minithon at Boggart Hole Clough.

Added to all that lot, we have the usual trivia, stats, great pictures, news, match reports and a page on our women’s, reserves and youth teams.
