Development Squad at Bootle POSTPONED

The Development Squad were due to make a second attempt to play their Lancashire League Cup tie at Bootle tonight. This has sadly fallen victim to the weather.

Those who saw the state of the Gigg Lane pitch on Tuesday would not be surprised to learn that the Merseyside club had a County Cup tie scheduled for the same night postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Now their reserve team manager reports that the pitch is in an even worse condition.
