Community Share Scheme - Volunteers Required

Passionate about helping get us to Moston? Got a friendly phone voice? Have we got a job for you...

We need volunteers to spend a couple of hours of an evening, maybe once a week or once a fortnight, in a central Manchester or Salford location, ringing people to encourage them to put money into our community share scheme.

We need another £100,000 in our share scheme as part of the jigsaw of funding to make Moston happen. Some people may be considering investing but just need a bit of encouragement and someone to talk through with them how easy it is to do. Sometimes folk don’t know that the share scheme may offer them a great tax break, and sometimes they don’t know they can put more money in if they’ve done it already. Experience has shown that often a friendly chat on the phone with a fellow FCUM fan can make the difference between someone putting in money and not.
