AGM Results - UPDATED
The 2013 FC United Annual General Meeting was held at The Manchester College, Openshaw, Manchester on Sunday 17th November. The members heard presentations on the club’s operations and current financial position.
The board thanked all the volunteers who helped out on Sunday who contributed to the smooth running of the AGM. The board work like to thank independent scrutineer Mick Vickers.
Minutes of the meeting will shortly be available on the secure members’ area of the website.
Board Elections
There were six vacancies for the board and the votes cast were as follows:
Tom Stott - 90%
Stephen Pagnam – 79%
John Nicholson – 82%
Phil Sheeran – 78%
Kate Ramsey – 87%
Re-open Nominations – 17%
Alan Hargrave – 79%
Spoilt ballot – 0.4%
Congratulations go to Tom Stott, Kate Ramsey, Phil Sheeran, John Nicholson and Steve Pagnam who were re-elected and to Alan Hargrave who was elected again following a year out.
Please note the percentages were worked out by the total amount of votes cast. The actual numbers of votes will be available in the minutes of the Annual General Meeting.
Resolution and Member’s Votes
Resolution 1
THAT Baker Tilly be appointed as the auditors of the Club for the period up to the end of the next Annual General Meeting of the Club, and that the Board are hereby authorised to fix their remuneration.
For – 99%
Against – 0%
Abstain – 1%
Resolution 1 is passed.
Member’s Vote 1
It is proposed In line with our established new kit schedule to launch a new away kit for the 2014-15 season
For – 76%
Against – 18%
Abstain – 6%
Member’s Vote 1 is passed.
Members’ Vote 2
That the voting system to be used at future General Meetings to determine new home or away shirts will be first past the post.
For – 71%
Against – 24%
Abstain – 5%
Member’s Vote 2 is passed.
