This game is to be played at Brookburn Road, Chorlton, M21 8FF.
This game will be pay on the gate. Admission prices are as follows:
Adults £5
Concessions £3
The clubhouse will be serving hot and cold food from about 6:15pm and there is a bar and lounge area with male and female WC’s inside.
The Bowling Green Pub on Brookburn Road (M21 9ES) will also be open before and after the game and the Landlord is happy for FC United fans to use their car park and walk to the ground from there.
Travel
Parking:
There is limited car parking within the ground for about 50-60 spectators cars. There is also a public car park for a further 20-30 cars almost opposite the Bowling Green pub on Brookburn Road within a few minutes’ walk.
West Didsbury & Chorlton hope as many people as possible will use public transport or park away from the ground and walk in.
The entrance to the ground is at the end of the Brookburn Road cul de sac and is single access so any help minimising traffic and disturbance for neighbours is appreciated.
By Bus:
From Manchester City Centre the 86 runs to Chorlton Bus Station.
By Car:
From Princess Road/Parkway (A5103) turn onto Barlow Moor Road at Southern Cemetery and follow past Chorlton Park to Chorlton Bus Station. Turn left into Beech Road, then second left into Reynard Road, follow Claude Road over 5 speed bumps and turn left passing the school and continue to the end of Brookburn Road, [cul de sac] slowly down the tarmac bridleway leading to the metal gates and into the ground, car parking is on ground to your right before the pay hut.
From Stretford follow Edge Lane bearing right onto Edge Lane and then turning at St. Clements Church along St. Clements Road to Chorlton green. Go past the small cemetery, the Bowling Green Pub, and then passing the school on your right before turning right at the street sign on the corner of Brookburn Road. Continue to the end of the road as above.
