Shell out for your cracking programme

Easter Monday’s programme is a cracker. We are not walking on egg shells when we say that.

Steve Wood has been on the mither again and managed to have a rabbit with former FC defender Martin Parker in our irregular ’Where are they now?’ feature. Read what Martin made of the Rochdale game and more.

Swedish red Linus Lind tells us what brought him to FC United. Linus is one of a growing band of overseas FC fans and their stories can help us all appreciate what we have created and how far our message has travelled.

One of our many Germany correspondents Ed Barrett reports from Dresden after a recent recon mission ahead of our summer visit. He even took some nice pictures of the ’attractions’ the city has to offer.

Meanwhile, Dennis Hickson contacted us with a great story about the time he met George Best by accident. Dennis was a regular home and away red during the Docherty era and although he doesn’t come to FC due to logistical reasons, he contacted us to say how much he agrees with our stance and approach to running a football club. His story will make even the most humourless consider laughing.

We have the usual stats, match reports, ace pictures and popular away team section and we have a proper crank in Meet the Owners.

All this for £2.

FC United continues to do things differently by producing the best programme in this league and beyond. Be proud reds, it is yours.

A special mention must go to our crack team of sellers who excelled themselves once again in awful conditions at the home game against Blyth. They have played a huge part in making the programme a success this season and the club is eternally grateful for their graft.

If you would like to join this merry band and help out on home match days please email: programme@fc-utd.uk.

Thanks as always.

The programme team.
