Court of Appeal Hearing Result

Following a court hearing in London today we are pleased to confirm that the Court of Appeal has refused permission for an appeal to our proposed community development in Moston.

The judge in our High Court Judicial Review in December ruled the original planning permission granted by Manchester City Council should stand and now this decision has been backed by the Court of Appeal.

After what has been a costly and lengthy delay we are pleased with the decision of the court and look forward to being able to begin the build and bring the anticipated social and economic benefit to the area as soon as possible.

FC United of Manchester remains committed and open to work with all local residents and community groups, including those who remain sceptical about the development, and ensure this development is a real asset to the local area and Manchester as a whole. We will happily discuss any remaining concerns and explore ways in which they can be addressed.
