The British Library’s UK Web Archive
FC United are delighted to announce that The British Library have started to archive our website in their UK Web Archive. The UK Web Archive was established in 2004 to capture and archive websites from the UK domain, responding to the challenge of a ‘digital black hole’ in the nation’s memory. It contains specially selected websites that represent different aspects of on-line life in the UK. They work closely with leading UK institutions to collect and permanently preserve the UK web, and their full archive can be seen at
http://www.webarchive.org.uk/.
On 14 January 2013, the UK Web Archive took their first “snapshot??? of our website and this is now live at
http://www.webarchive.org.uk/ukwa/target/79921170.
The Wayback Machine
Another web archive website The Wayback Machine has also been archiving our web pages since 2005. Their website can be found
here.
