FC United AGM This Evening, Longfield Suite, Prestwich

Following last week’s withdrawal of a candidate from the Board Elections members will note that a revised ballot paper will be issued at the AGM. Members who voted early by post or proxy before the revised form was available are reassured that their ballot papers remain valid.

Full Consideration has been given to the possibility of contacting members who voted early and may have voted in favour of the withdrawn candidate to offer the opportunity to recast their votes. This has not proved logistically possible without undermining the secrecy of the ballot process which must remain paramount.

The Annual General Meeting of FC United Limited will take place on Thursday 8th November 2012, at the Longfield Suite, Rectory Lane, Prestwich, M25 1AY at 7pm. Registration opens at 6:30pm. The Meeting will consider the following business:

3. Board Reports

3.1 A report on the Club’s performance for the year ending 30th June 2012.

3.2 A report on the Club’s financial performance for the year ending 30th June 2012.

9. Closure of the meeting

By car:

From Manchester City Centre - follow A56 Great Ducie Street / Bury New Road until the centre of Prestwich Village. Turn right at Fairfax Road then right again onto Rectory Lane. The Longfield Suite is at the front of the car park.

From the M60 junction 17 and follow the signs for Prestwich. Turn left at the Marks and Spencer onto Fairfax Road and then right onto Rectory Lane.

Public Transport:

Prestwich tram stop is a couple of minutes walk from the Longfield Centre.

Bus services from Manchester City Centre are the 98 (departs from Shudehill bus station) and the X40/X41/X43 (departs from Chorlton Street bus station)
