Kendal game half time draw result and barrel collection

There was another good barrel collection on Sunday at Gigg Lane at the Kendal game - a total of £190 which included a box of change from the FC office and numerous bags of assorted coinage. Also the usual handful of euros and foreign stuff completed the count. We managed to change two bags of out of date coins for £20 at a coin dealers this week so that will go into the barrels at the next home game against Hereford in the cup.

The half time draw sellers sold a massive 1,055 tickets and the winning ticket number was 2371 and the £200 prize was claimed by John from Denton before the referee picked up his half time cuppa. £855 therefore was paid into club funds.

The winning ticket was drawn out by our very own radio presenter Roy Williamson, who was celebrating winning the TREASURELINE first prize of £1,000. Roy has been with the club from the start and was originally membership secretary in our early years. A worthy winner and we managed to tap Roy for a few words and will be featuring them in a later matchday programme.
