Raise your glasses for the third annual FC United Real Ale Trail

The third annual FC United Real Ale Trail is taking place on Saturday 23 June 2012.

The previous two events have been great days out and big successes, with a decent amount of money being raised for the club. The Transpennine Real Ale Trail is a unique voyage of discovery to a selection of Yorkshire and Lancashire’s best real ale pubs - on a train through Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Slaithwaite, Marsden and Stalybridge. All of the pubs are on or close to the stations so join us and have a pint of real ale (or whatever takes your fancy) in each one.

We plan to leave Manchester Piccadilly station on the 12.57pm train to West Riding Refreshment Rooms, Dewsbury. Adult return tickets from Manchester Piccadilly are just £13.70. You can then just hop on and off the train as we work our way back to Piccadilly via a veritable cornucopia of establishments, most of which will be selling nice food as well as real ales. There will be songs and merriment and a lot of good conversation, not all of which will be football-based - we are a cultured lot you see here at FC! It’s usually a lovely day, so do get Saturday 23 June in your diaries as soon as possible.

Like last year, we will be producing special limited edition branded T-shirts available for just £10. If you would like to order one, please let us know what size you would like and you can collect it on the day.
