Manager Karl Marginson is reshaping his squad, signing midfielder Greg Stones and releasing Steve Torpey.
Greg is an experienced midfielder who has played most of his football in Wales but more recently he has been with Chester FC.
"We have a good squad of players," said Margy, "But we need to change the options available to us and as resources and spaces in the squad are limited I have had to let Steve go.
"Steve has been unfortunate with injuries and has not been able to show his true form since returning to the club so I have decided to release him from his registration with us."
Karl revealed the difficulty he faced: "It was a tough decision as Steve is not only a quality player but a really great bloke too, he is popular with the fans and everyone at the club thinks the world of him, he has played a big part in our short history.
"I always want to be honest with players and if I am to make decisions which I think are in the best interests of the club and the playing squad I have to sometimes deliver unpleasant messages.
"Greg is a great addition to the squad, a player who is equally comfortable playing in midfield or at the back. He will pep things up and his experience will help other players too."
