THIS WEEK’S FCUM RADIO NEWS

This week dear listener we are awfully excited by yet another FA Cup fixture on the horizon. Yes, Lancaster City at home this weekend in the FA Cup 2nd Round Qualifier, and we are hopeful it will be a delightful afternoon all round. We will of course be there live, well I say we, Ben will not as he is off to that there London. Instead, Marv will be making his solo production debut this season for FC Live’s coverage this Saturday. It’ll be fine I’m sure.

In other news this week, while the FC Live bods were enjoying a thriller in Skelmersdale, other members of the FCUM Radio team were busy aiding the station in becoming a real community asset by recording three brand new Children Of The Revolution episodes. Taking place at the Whitemoss Youth Centre near Moston; Marv and Stuart James received a very warm welcome indeed on the day, and we would like to thank Whitemoss and the kids of North Manchester for helping create a wonderful day. More recordings at Whitemoss are penciled in for the coming months.

In yet more good news for FCUM Radio, the official station twitter feed broke the 700 follower’s barrier this past weekend which made the station emperor very happy indeed. So thanks for following us at http://www.twitter.com/fcumradio, we’re going to make a show just about twitter, tweets, hashtags and all that one day I’m sure.

And while we’re on the subject of our shows here on your station, just a reminder, that all of our volunteer DJs and presenters can be contacted via email and love reading what you have to say. So help yourselves and please tune in when you can, http://www.fcumradio.co.uk/djsshows/the-voices/
