Many thanks from Radcliffe

Officials from Radcliffe Borough e-mailed the club on Monday to thank everyone and in particular our supporters for a great day on Saturday.

The e-mail said: On behalf of Radcliffe Borough Football Club may I thank all the officials, players, management staff and especially the supporters of FC United who attended the recent pre-season friendly on Saturday 15th July.

The supporters conducted themselves admirably and were a credit to the club and enhanced their growing reputation in the non-league. I am sure everyone who attended enjoyed the game and had the opportunity to see the new signings made by both clubs and I thought in the conditions both sets of players provided excellent entertainment.

As a club we were very pleased with our teams’ showing and fitness against a familiar - to our supporters - and strong FC United outfit. Everyone at the Inn2Gether Stadium wishes you well and hope you have a successful season and continue to progress up the leagues.
