10K For Ten Acres - BUPA Great Manchester Run 2011

It may only be weeks since our runners and walkers took centre stage on the FC Minithon, however it is now time to plan early for those that wish to participate in the Great Manchester Run which will take place on Sunday 15th May 2011.

This will be the sixth year in a row that a team of FC runners have entered the race and thousands of pounds have been raised over that time for many good causes including the Development Fund. With the ground at Ten Acres Lane almost within our grasp anything more we can raise through sponsorship will be a great help.

For the Run which took place earlier this year registration opened in early January and places were filled within a matter of days. A notice on the Great Run website states that registration for next years Run will open on Tuesday 16th November at 8.30am.!

There are no plans for a "Euro Away" that weekend so please join us and 30,000 others in a great occassion running through the streets of the city centre, out to Old Trafford and back again representing FC.
