Summer in October...

This Week’s News

Good day to you all!

In the summer, FCUM Radio hosted three gig nights in aid of the FC United Development Fund. This week we are proud to introduce to you a recording from the final night at this year’s Summer Proms recorded in front of a live audience at Manchester’s Retro Bar. Featuring electric performances from The DN5, Hard Luck Child and Euchrid Eucrow, the programme begins at 4pm everyday this week and is simply brilliant.

FCUM Radio is the home of FC United of Manchester, and fast approaching this week is possibly the biggest game in the club’s history. On Sunday 24th of October, FC United are hosting Barrow AFC in the fourth and final qualifying round of The FA Cup. We know that it is difficult to prise some of you away from The FC Live! Match commentary, but if you can attend the match this Sunday, please do so and please bring a friend or nine! But if you are unable to attend, FCUM Radio will be live on Sunday from 2pm.

And finally, congratulations to both Swampy and Ben for their Minithon participation, Ben did the 5.8K course in around 40 minutes, Swampy we assumed crossed the line during the night. A big congratulations also to the organisers and all the athletes who took part, it was an excellent excellent day.

Highlights of this week include:

* FC LIVE! Join Ben, Swampy, Keg & Co from 2pm for build-up and then full match commentary on Sunday for the FC home tie with Barrow AFC in the fourth and final round of The FA Cup.
* At 4pm each day this week, tune into The FCUM Radio Summer Proms, highlights from the final night featuring performances from The DN5, Hard Luck Child and Euchrid Eucrow.
