Good things come in twos...

Good day to you all!

FCUM Radio hates to say that we told you so but we indeed did, despite a battery drain on Saturday’s FA Cup Special of FC Live! which saw 10 minutes of frantic errrrrrrrrs and oh what do we dos, we still managed to succeed in bringing our 100% record in this year’s FA Cup sponsored by E.ON to the first team, a record which now stands at a remarkable - broadcast three, won three.

Now this week we will be endeavouring to bring yet more luck to Margy’s men, this time in the FA Carlsberg Trophy on Saturday, we’ll be live from Gigg Lane from 2pm on the day. Here’s to a trip down to Wembley come spring!

In other news, FCUM Radio this week are happy to announce that we have two brand new shows for your weekend. Tune in this Saturday at 10am (Repeated the following Tuesday at 7pm) for The Sports Review Show, a show which combines the best in indie music with comment on what on earth is going on in the world of sport this past week.

Also making his debut this week is Roy Slinger, who this Saturday at 7pm (repeated Sunday at 10pm), will be debuting his exciting new show Reggae Latin Funk Bass Beats, which obviously does exactly what it says on the tin and we can’t wait for you to hear it. FCUM Radio hopes that you all enjoy the new additions to our weekend here on the station.

Highlights of this week include:

* FC LIVE! Join Ben, Swampy, Keg & Co from 2pm for build-up and then full match commentary from Gigg Lane as FC begin their march in the FA Trophy against Newcastle Town.
