The day is finally here...

This Week’s News

After a massive effort from everyone involved, and a whole heap of preamble and plugging, we can happily and thankfully announce the official launch of FCUM Radio, as of 11am on Monday 16 August 2010.

We’ve been at it like a group of NASA scientists being barked at by Ed Harris and with all fingers and toes firmly crossed, we now step into the breach of uncertainty together with you, dear listeners. From this day forth, you can tune in to FCUM Radio for a full seven day schedule, brimming with music speciality, community and FC related shows.

Highlights of this week include:

FC Assistant Manager Roy Soule appearing on FC’s Bare Necessities (Saturdays at 1pm, repeated Sundays at 9pm)
* Nathan, Allanah and Martin of the FC Uth take control of the airwaves in this week’s Children Of The Revolution (Saturdays at 11am, repeated Sundays at 1pm)
* Stuart James introduces Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! in this week’s Album Of The Week (Tuesdays at 8pm, repeated Saturdays at 5pm)
* This Club Is My Club has interviews with Karl Marginson, Roy Soule and Mike Norton ahead of the season opener with Marine (Daily at 12:30, 3:30 & 9pm)
* 3 Brand New Shows!!! Tune into the FC Community Guide to hear all about events to look out for this week in your neighbourhood; Russ Clarke’s Bonus Round for Manchester’s premier gaming review show; and The Time Travelling Turntable for a groovy and unpredictable Saturday night.
* All your regular favourite shows and presenters, of course.
* Catch Up On Sundays - your chance to listen again to any shows you missed.

The best way to find out what’s on week to week is by heading to the newly updated website - www.fcumradio.co.uk. There’s a basic schedule attached to this email, but depending on live fixtures, it may change slightly.

Thanks for all the messages of support and kind words you’ve offered in the build up to this great event, and most importantly, thanks for listening.
