AGM 2009 - Results

The FC United Annual General Meeting was held at The Central Methodist Hall on Thursday 29th October 2009. The members heard presentations on the club’s current financial position and the impressive performance both on and of the pitch.

The board thanked all those who had contributed to the club’s success in particular all the work undertaken by supporters who had volunteered their services during the year.

FC United would also like to thank all the volunteers who helped out on Thursday and who contributed to the smooth running of the AGM.

There were six vacancies for the board and the votes cast were as follows:

Peter Burke 49%
Scott Fletcher 92%
Ben Hughes 27%
Helen Lambert 66%
John Manning 78%
Gareth Moore 15%
Steve Pagnam 54%
Phil Sheeran 85%
Jules Spencer 88%

The following board members were therefore elected: Scott Fletcher, Helen Lambert, John Manning, Steve Pagnam, Phil Sheeran and Jules Spencer.

Commiserations to Peter Burke, Ben Hughes and Gareth Moore.

There was 1 resolution to be voted on.

Resolution 1 - THAT Tenon, Chartered Accountants, be re-appointed as the auditors of the Club for the period up to the end of the next Annual General Meeting of the Club, and that the Board be and they are hereby authorised to fix their remuneration.

Kit Aid Collection

The KitAid collection at the AGM last night collected over 50 shirts, shorts and socks, which will be parcelled up and taken down to KitAid HQ in Hertfordshire on Sunday afternoon.
