The Family Day Out

"My family came down for the Minithon last year and really enjoyed it, so we hope lots more families come to Chorlton Meadows this time. It’s for all FC supporters and friends not just the racers,"?? says FC United General Manager, Andy Walsh, "It’s a pleasant walk or trot in the pastures and woods beside the Mersey and the birds in the Water Park. There’s even a pub along the way if the kids or grandparents need a rest and a drink."??

"After the run we have put on refreshments, entertainment from MAD theatre and Early Doors TV comedian, James Quinn, plus live music with Fiery Jack, to complete the day with a good party atmosphere.

This year a special family competition has been added. The signposts signalling the route of the course will each carry a letter that goes to make up the name of one ex-Manchester United hero and then one current FC player. Any correct entries will put into a hat and the winner drawn by James Quinn. Add prizes for fancy dress, best headgear and fastest pet and owner and all the family can have fun.

Get your friends and families down to Chorlton Green in south Manchester for 11.30am, help raise money for the club and Medequip4kids and enjoy the fun.
