Directions to Leigh RMI from Manchester

By Bus
The most direct route is by bus. Catch the 26 from Corporation Street, goes down Cross Street and John Dalton Street onto Chapel Street. Also goes through Swinton, Worsley, Boothstown straight to Leigh Bus Station.

By Train
Leigh is the largest town in England without its own station. You will need to get the train from Victoria to Atherton station. Get off here, cross the main road and catch the 582 Bus from the stop opposite a pub called The Bluebell, this also takes you straight into the bus station (you will also pass Hilton Park) Train takes about 20 mins, bus about 10 mins.

By Road
From Manchester, take the A580 East Lancs Road towards St Helen’s. Pass over the Greyhound roundabout (you will know it due to the Total petrol station on the left and Greyhound Hotel on right.) At next set of lights turn right onto the Leigh By pass. Keep going through a set of lights and over a roundabout at Sainsburys. The ground will appear on the right opposite Asda, think you will be ok to park on there, but there is street parking if you turn right at the lights at the Asda/ground/B&Q. Look for a pub called The Victoria.
