The Race Night is now officially SOLD OUT

The Race Night is now officially SOLD OUT. We are very sorry to echo United’s ticket line but supporters without tickets will not gain admission. The venue has a strict capacity and we will not be allowed by law to admit any more people than the tickets we were given.

A number of people have reserved tickets via those organising the event - it is essential that all of these tickets are collected on Wednesday night from Gigg Lane or at the absolute latest on Saturday, but please bear in mind Youth United Day and the fact that people will be extremely busy on Saturday. Any tickets not collected and paid for by 5pm on Saturday will be sold to those currently on the reserve list.

The Race Night will take place in conjunction with a special presentation to the 6 FC United players who have each played over 100 games for the club - Dave Chadwick, Rob Nugent, Simon Carden, Same Ashton, Rory Patterson and Jerome Wright. It takes place on Thursday April 9th (the night before Good Friday) at Chorlton Irish Club in Chorlton. The current squad and management will be in attendance to support their fellow players.

Tickets are currently being sold for the raffle draw, the lucky winner of which will win a signed limited edition Paul Scholes painting - tickets are available from Albert Barker who will be around Gigg Lane on Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are £3 or 2 for £5.

The following auction items will be on offer to the highest bidder on the night:

- Ryan Giggs original painting framed and signed
- One off framed Red FC United goal-keeper’s shirt (yes, our supplier sent us RED goalkeeper shirts!!) signed by the current squad
- Joz Mitten’s signed tracksuit from first season
- Joz Mitten signed and framed photo "Joz with his boots" from the club’s first game at Leigh RMI
- 6 x signed and framed photos of the 6 players receiving - commissioned specially for the Presentation Night
- Programme from the Final of the World Club Championship in Japan in 2008
- 12 x bricks from Hilton Park including the team sheet from our first ever game packaged in an attractive box
- 24 x posters signed by all the 6 members of our one hundred club

Please also note that additional horses are available for £5 - please email stephen.pagnam@btopenworld.com if you cannot attend but are interested in supporting the event by sponsoring a horse.

Food will be served on the night and is included in the cost of your ticket. We will be offering vegetarian options, as well as horse burgers, pony sausages and cart-horse kebabs.

The Club would like to thank the Leigh & District Branch for organising this event.
