First FC United Poker Night

Raising money for club funds. The first evening will be held at the Y Club on Liverpool Road, Castlefield this Friday 3rd October, a 7.30pm start so arrive early to be seated.

The game is Texas Hold-Em No Limit Freezeout with a 3000 chip start and 20 minute blind increases, self dealt (first two rounds are 30 minutes). The prize pool is a guaranteed £650 and your ticket price of £40 includes a chicken curry supper.

The bar will have drinks promotions including double up on selected spirits for a £1, 2-4-1 on San Miguel and £2 a pint on real ales. There will be other games available for those knocked out of the tournament wishing to stay.

We hope to run 10 nights depending on the success of this first night, this will create a league with potential prize money over the season being £7500. All players will get league points just for turning up and the jackpot of £1000 will be played for in a final between the top 8/16.
