Altrincham Game On

Despite speculation and rumour elsewhere the game against Altrincham FC at Moss Lane on Tuesday 22nd July is going ahead, kick off 7:45pm.

There was an incident at the Altrincham game against MUFC reserves on Saturday which has given rise some to anti-FC sentiment and calls for our game to be cancelled, we are pleased to say that the game will definitely go ahead.

Pre-season friendlies are an important part of the squad’s build up to the league programme; Karl and his management team have chosen opponents that will test the players and give supporters an entertaining match to watch into the bargain. All our opponents have generously agreed to split the gate so attending the match also helps boost FC coffers.

There will be a police presence and FC United will be assisting Altrincham with the stewarding of the match. We ask that FC fans get behind the team at what promises to be a good test for the squad and show detractors and those who look for any opportunity to knock the club what we are all about.
