Target 1000...The Next Big Push

Supporters will have noted that we passed the 700 mark for season ticket sales on Monday, which is a phenomenal effort, ahead of schedule and up on the same point last year. We’d like to thank all those supporters who have so far shown their commitment by purchasing theirs (including those who were phoning through their order to the office at turned 9pm on Monday night!)

As per the members’ vote at the General Meeting the one-off price of £130 for an adult season ticket has now passed and the price will revert to £142.50. HOWEVER, this still represents a two match saving based on last season’s gate prices and therefore still represents great value.

It should also be noted that next season’s gate prices have yet to be set. These will be discussed at the board meeting of 14 July after which members will get to vote on the matter. It is hoped that they will remain the same but there is no guarantee. What is certain is that if you purchase your season ticket BEFORE the members’ vote, you will only be paying last season’s price. And we’re extending the £50 deposit offer, so if finding £142.50 in one go is too much, then simply pay the first instalment now and the balance can be paid before the season starts.

Under-18s season ticket prices will remain at £21 and OAPs and concessions at £95.

These next two weeks are absolutely crucial to the planning and budgeting of next season, so we’d urge as many supporters as possible to purchase a season ticket as soon as possible and hopefully we can hit our target together.

Supporters are also reminded that in order to exercise their democratic right to vote on next season’s gate prices, they will need to be a current paid up member and therefore will need to renew beforehand.
