As you embark on a summer of sunburnt noses, picking dead wasps out of your pint pots and debating whether cricket is bobbins or not, spare a moment to make a difference to your football club by renewing or purchasing an FC United season ticket.

The race is on to top last season’s impressive sales and you can bag a bargain if you buy before the end of June. A miserly £50 deposit is all you need to stump up and you don’t have to pay the rest until the week before the season starts in August - therefore it won’t eat into your holiday spends.

Last year an excellent response saw us sell an impressive 1,200, but as we progress up the leagues our pre-season preparations are ever more dependent on our budgets being set as early as possible, so your support for the club will count towards our continued success.

FC members own the club and set the ticket prices, therefore following the recent general meeting season tickets for the 2008-09 season will be £130 for adults, £90 for over-60s/unwaged and just £21 for under-18s.

Anyone buying a season ticket is guarenteed to receive a two-match discount as thank you for your continued support. That’s two matches for free bargain hunters.

Memberships

The prices for membership of FC United of Manchester have remained unchanged for the fourth season. Anyone wishing to ensure that they have a voice in the running of their own football club can sign-up now for the 2008-09 season at the following cost: Adults: £10, under-16s: £3.

The club’s membership scheme is what makes FC United of Manchester special. As an industrial and provident society we are run strictly on a one-member, one-vote basis. All members have an equal say in the running of their club. All adult members can submit resolutions for consideration by the membership can vote on resolutions and can stand for election to the club’s board.

Supporters will also be able to purchase Season Tickets and Membership from the member’s area on the website here here.

However to keep payment charges low we would like to encourage supporters to either pay by cheque or use their debit/credit card and not Paypal.
