Festival of football - everybody welcome

The festival of football starts at Gigg Lane tomorrow at 12.30pm and FC United would like to clarify that you do not have to be a member to access the social club - it’s open to everyone.

Manchester United versus West Ham United will be on the big screen with kick-off at 12.45pm and anyone can enter. There is an entrance fee of £1 per person but all of this money goes directly to FC United to help run this wonderful thing of ours in various ways. We can guarantee none of your money will go to fat cats or ginger gnomes.

There are plenty of other activities on the day too, such as; beat the keeper, ’keep it up’ challenge, players in the stocks and kids face paintings (big kids are allowed their face painted too).

So, get yourselves to that football ground as early as you can. Bring your friends, family, neighbours, that bloke at work, the guy from down the pub and even people you meet along the way to cheer the lads on - we’re one victory away from the UniBond Premier Division. Bring on United.
