Support Your Club - Season Tickets & Memberships 08/09

With FC United involved in a titanic struggle at the top of the Unibond Division One North, vying with both Bradford Park Avenue and Curzon Ashton for the championship and single automatic promotion place whilst also possibly facing the uncertainty of the play-offs, we are unsure as yet in which division and how many league matches we will be playing next season. However, following ratification by club members at the General Meeting on the 13 April, season tickets and memberships for the 2008-09 season are now available to buy and by getting in early you may well bag yourself a bargain.

The members of FC United of Manchester have decided that, for anyone committing to buy a season ticket before the 30 June 2008, prices would be as follows:

Adults: £130
Over 60s/Unwaged: £90
Under 18s: £21

Home match ticket prices will only be decided (again, by the club members) once we know what division and how many matches we will play next season. However, in order to recognise the commitment of supporters in agreeing to renew early, these prices are guaranteed to anyone agreeing to renew before 30 June regardless of any possible increase in matchday ticket price or increase in the number of league games. In fact, the club will also guarantee that you make a saving by buying a season ticket; if the above prices do not work out to be at least a two match discount on all home league fixtures, then the club will offer supporters who have bought them a refund on the difference.

In order to guarantee your 2008-09 season ticket at the prices above all you need to do is pay a non-refundable £50 deposit (or the full £21 for Under-18s) before 30 June 2008, with the balance due before the start of the season. If you prefer you may, of course, also pay for your season tickets in full straight away.

The reason that season ticket sales are so important is that it enables your club to plan financially with a degree of certainty. We had over 1000 season ticket holders in 2007-08 which ensured that we could better budget for everything from promotional and community work to playing staff - all the things that are most important to supporters.

MEMBERSHIPS

The prices for membership of FC United of Manchester have remained unchanged for the fourth season. Anyone wishing to ensure that they have a voice in the running of their own football club can sign-up now for the 2008-09 season at the following cost:

Adults: £10
Under 16s: £3

The club’s membership scheme is what makes FC United of Manchester special. As an industrial and provident society we are run strictly on a one-member, one-vote basis. All members have an equal say in the running of their club. All adult members can submit resolutions for consideration by the membership can vote on resolutions and can stand for election to the club’s board.

Supporters will also be able to purchase Season Tickets and Membership from the member’s area on the website here. However to keep payment charges low we would like to encourage supporters to either pay by cheque or use their debit/credit card and not Paypal.
