"Our George" raises over £1,000 for the DF

The Development Fund was boosted by a further £1,000+ this week with the last remaining sales of "Our George"??, Barbara Best-McNarry’s book about her brother and Manchester United legend, George Best. Barbara very kindly signed a batch for FC United which sold quickly over the Christmas period. Sales have taken the club a step closer to the season’s target of £100,000 towards our own ground.

Sincere thanks from everyone at FC United go to Mike Sherrard for organising sales and tirelessly chasing people, Barbara Best-McNarry for taking time out to sign the books, publishers MacMillan for their help and co-operation throughout and George Best for 11 seasons in red.
