Youth United update - 200 kids already confirmed & poster

Due to the work of our volunteers we have already secured commitments from several youth groups with over 200 kids already expected to attend Youth United day.

Youth United Day will take place on 1st March 2008, at FC United’s home game vs. Bamber Bridge FC at Gigg Lane, Bury.

Pre-match events:

There are various events taking place before the match (from 12.30pm), including:

At Bethesda Church:
o Face painting
o Banner making
o Theatre workshops

At Gigg Lane:
o Free fair-trade snacks (provided by the Co-op)
o Healthy eating taster sessions
o Free team posters (opportunity to get players’ autographs pitchside)
o Martial Arts display (on the pitch at half-time)


Admission details

Under 18s will gain free admission to the game through one of our dedicated turnstiles.

The pay on the gate adult price is £7.50. If you are involved with a youth or community group and wish to buy adult tickets in advance there is an opportunity to benefit from our ’cash-back’ scheme.
