Rossendale Cup Game - New Date Announced

Supporters may be aware that the League has insisted that our 3rd Round Presidents Cup game versus Rossendale be played at Gigg Lane.

The tie was originally scheduled to be played on Wednesday 16th January 2008 but as Bury have an FA Cup replay a new date needed to be found.

The league initially changed the date to Wednesday 23rd January but Bury are at home on the 22nd and the pitch cannot be prepared in time. The fixture was moved again to Wednesday 30th January but Bury Reserves are at home on that day for a fixture we are informed cannot be played at an alternative venue.

As a consequence of these unavailable dates and that the League have maintained the tie must be played at Gigg Lane, we have been informed that the new date for the 3rd round tie is Saturday 26th January 2008, kick off 3:00pm. The Curzon Ashton fixture scheduled for this date is now postponed with a date to be announced when known.
