FC United of Manchester Academy 'A' team's AoC Sport North West Men's Football Championship Invitational League away fixture at Stockport Sports Village last Wednesday morning saw the Young Reds go down to a 4-1 defeat against a Stockport County Academy XI.
Things had started quite well when BRYAN PARIGI had opened the scoring on just 16 minutes with a run through the Stockport defence before placing the ball past the home 'keeper.
But that was about as good as it got as Stockport drew level within two minutes before edging in front on 22 minutes.
A third goal on 54 minutes gave FC United the proverbial mountain to climb before the home side made sure of the result on 88 minutes.
