FC UNITED of MANCHESTER ACADEMY 'B' TEAM 0 STOCKPORT COUNTY ACADEMY XI 5
The FC United of Manchester Academy 'B' team's latest pre-season fixture resulted in the Young Reds going down to a rather one-sided 0-5 home defeat against a Stockport County Academy XI on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Friday morning.
The visitors opened the scoring in 16 minutes with a shot from outside the area by RIO SAMUELS.
The Stockport County Academy XI then added a second on 31 minutes with a low shot inside the six yard box by MARCUS KNOWLES.
Two minutes before the interval, RILEY MALONE added a third from the penalty spot after a home defender had conceded an unnecessary foul.
Despite a complete change of home team personnel at half-time, the almost one-way traffic continued in the second half and it was no surprise when ANTHONY DUAH smashed home a fourth goal for Stockport on 74 minutes.
And a minute before full time, the visitors' OSCAR ROMAIN added a fifth.
